About Me

Hi I’m Victoria Shaw, I established VES Accounting Services so that I could get back to what I am passionate about, helping business owners understand their numbers, and financial regulations. I believe that informed business owners are in the best position to run their organisations successfully.

I’m a chartered accountant, with nearly two decades of experience working in finance. I’ve worked in a range of businesses including Audit Practice, Oil & gas Service, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals. More recently I have spent nearly eight years working in Builders Merchants and Construction Material businesses. My most recent role saw me serving as a Finance Director in a national construction related company.

My years working in the corporate world at a senior level mean that I understand how businesses work, and can cut through the accountancy jargon to give you clear and trustworthy information.
